Pedestrian taken to hospital after hit-and-run in Edgemoor, Delaware

EDGEMOOR, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian in New Castle County, Delaware.

The pedestrian was hit around 9:15 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of East Lea Boulevard and Colony Boulevard, authorities said.

The pedestrian was taken to Christiana Hospital. That person's condition has not been released.

There was no immediate word on whether the driver involved would face criminal charges.

The name of the person who was struck has not been released.
